I recorded the vocals to one of my new songs, called "Proxy", today while Sara and Zoe were out for a while. When I was all done and I was listening to playback, I burst into tears and I couldn't stop crying.
Whether anyone else in the world ultimately likes this song or not, it says exactly what I feel. All of these songs do. When completed, "ASCII Cupcake" will be, far and away, the most cathartic collection of songs I've ever written.
If I didn't have music to turn to as an outlet, I'd have self-destructed months ago.
