Horrible
Here's perhaps the worst reality I've ever had to face:

With the 14B big 3 automaker loans dead, our entire livelihood now depends on President Bush. Without his help in the next week or so, Sara and I (and all of Detroit, to be sure) are going down and there will be literally no hope for us.

I can't believe this whole thing. The f**ker better do something other than wax poetically about his father and remind everyone of the countdown that he's keeping until he can go back to Texas. Based on what I've read, that's about all W's said in the past 48 hours that's been worthy of publishing. Maybe he IS a big stoner like they joked in Harold and Kumar 2? "F**k the auto industry. Gimme a donut... sprinkles! Awesome..."

This was a f**king tide-over until Obama can officially step in and even that wasn't passed. Mind boggling. Access to billions just to essentially put things in a holding pattern. Yes, changes, but essentially just putting a holding pattern in place.

The UAW couldn't STAND it though and refused to change. Well, the government's about to take their toys and go home. Awesome strategic move. The sarcastic bravado of "screw the auto industry! let it go under!" isn't cute anymore. It very well just might. Unfathomable.

Whatever you need that we could possibly help out with, let me know. I'll keep my eye on the news and hope this takes a better turn. SOON.
